Dr.Aronson was a blessing to our family. She helped us send our cat to her twilight life with compassion and care. She took time to listen to our stories and memories of Rascal and led us through the process of saying good-bye in the comfort of our home.

Saying goodbye to our beloved Pippin was made all the easier with the help of Dr Deborah Aronson. She was gentle and kind with Pippin from the beginning and being in the comfort of our own home was the only way we could imagine sending our 17 year old pup on her way. The whole family got to spend time with Pippin and we were given the space and time we needed. Communicating with Dr Aronson was easy and clear. I would highly recommend Mainline VIP. I would not hesitate to recommend Deborah for both acupuncture and end of life services. She saw my dog Millie through both and was a consummate professional with deep compassion and understanding for the dogs and owners in her care. I cannot speak more highly of an individual. You are in the best hands possible.

We inquired with Main Line VIP after our nearly fifteen year old Sheltie’s health took a turn for the worse. Initially we were going to consult virtually, but Tipper had been deteriorating and that same day Dr. Aronson agreed to come to our home to assess Tipper and determine next steps. Dr. Aronson’s flexibility was an immediate sign of her compassion for our state of mind. Once she examined Tipper she guided us to ultimately understand he was in bad shape. She let us take as much time as we needed and we agreed together to help with ending his pain. Dr. Aronson listened as we blabbered on about all of Tipper’s quirks, many adventures, and what a special member of our family he was. When we said good bye to Tipper and Dr. Aronson we didn’t imagine we’d hear anything further. Dr. Aronson sent a follow up note and it wasn’t a template, she personally penned a poem about our loving Tipper. It meant more than she will ever know. She listened to us and showed us so much care and compassion. I cannot recommend Dr. Aronson and Main Line VIP enough. A tearful time turned into a cherished memory.

Dr. Aronson was amazing during the worst day of my life. She walked us through every step and made this terrible experience the best it can be. Losing Sasha was so hard and still is to this day. I am so happy I decided to use Dr Aronson to help Sasha cross the rainbow bridge. She was gentle, kind and really cared about us and Sasha in the short time she was able to get to know us. I am so glad I chose this way for Sasha instead of taking her to a vet. Dr Aronson gave us as much time as we needed. I would recommend Dr Aronson to all my family and friends.

When it came time to face the inevitable and put my dog Fred down after 17 1/2 years, I knew I wanted him to leave this world with as much dignity and as little stress and pain as possible. He passed in the living room on his favorite bed, surrounded by those who loved him. None of this would’ve been possible without Dr. Deborah Aronson. She could not have been more compassionate, more helpful or more professional. I feel extremely fortunate that we were able to share this last act of love for Freddy. So grateful for Dr. Aronson. She made it possible for us to say goodbye to our cat Sunny in a beautiful way. Sunny hated going to the vet and I couldn't stand the thought of putting him through that stress when it was time. Dr. Aronson helped ensure a comfortable and peaceful transition for Sunny. She was kind, compassionate, and responsive to our needs. The positive nature of the experience overshadowed the heartbreak, and for that I am truly grateful.

I hope you don’t need them anytime soon, but if you do, I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Aronson's palliative care and end of life services. Dr. Aronson helped me ensure my cat’s quality of life was as good as possible in her last months, and helped me be confident I was making ethical decisions about when to support her continued good life and when it was time to help her pass peacefully. I appreciate how responsive she was to questions and set clear expectations around when she could come to assess my cat's worsening condition. She was very good about talking through the euthanasia process with me and with the children in my household (mindful of our values and approach to honest conversations with them, and always using developmentally appropriate language). My cat is fearful of new people and Dr. Aronson was very good about finding ways to care for her while respecting her boundaries. I will always cherish the time Dr. Aronson took with us and the ethical, reverent, and sensitive approach she has for this important, difficult work.
